pre heat oven or toaster oven to 325° arrange nuts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
toast nuts for 4-8 minutes depending on what kind you are using
- pepitas (pumpkin seeds) and sliced almonds usually take 3-4 minutes
- pignoli nut (pine nuts), walnuts, and pecans take 5-6 minutes
- larger nuts like almonds and cashews may take a couple minutes longer
nuts should be lightly browned and fragrant when toasted
